Scorecard completion

See where your organisation is at with completing scorecards launched in a chosen period, and who hasn't had one launched at all.

Overview

Scorecard completion is a live Signals dashboard. It answers one question:

Where is my organisation at with completing scorecards launched in a chosen period, and who hasn't had one launched at all?

Choose a date range and the dashboard counts everyone on your staff, including people who had no scorecard launched in that range. It recalculates from today's data each time you open it, so a scorecard launched in the range and finished afterwards shows as completed.

Organisation admins and WeMatter RPO users can open it from Signals.

What is counted

Scorecards

The dashboard includes scorecards launched (created) between the start and end of the chosen range. Both whole days are included. Deleted scorecards are never counted.

Staff

Staff are the people in your organisation whose profiles are not deleted. Admins are included. WeMatter RPO users are not.

One status per person

Each person is counted once. If someone had more than one scorecard launched in the range, the dashboard uses their most recent one and shows how many they had. The Scorecards download lists every one.

Because each person has exactly one status, the status counts always add up to the number of staff.

Statuses

StatusMeaning
No scorecard launchedNo scorecard was launched for this person within the chosen date range.
ArchivedClosed without finishing. It stays viewable but is locked for edits, and a new scorecard can be launched. It is never counted as completed or as no scorecard.
No responsesLaunched, but neither the self-reflection (iMatter) nor the manager review (uMatter) has been submitted.
Awaiting self-reflectionThe manager review is in. Waiting on the person to submit their self-reflection (iMatter).
Awaiting manager reviewThe self-reflection is in. Waiting on the reviewing managers to submit their joint review (uMatter).
Awaiting feedback workshopBoth responses are in. Waiting on the feedback workshop (WeMatter) to be completed.
CompletedAll three stages are submitted.

Older legacy-format scorecards finish at the manager review, so they count as completed once both the self-reflection and manager review are submitted.

The "Awaiting …" names are used on this dashboard only. They say what each in-progress scorecard is waiting for.

Overdue

Overdue is not a separate status. A person is overdue when the deadline for the stage they are waiting on has passed:

Waiting onDeadline checked
No responsesThe iMatter or uMatter deadline, whichever falls first
Self-reflectionThe iMatter deadline
Manager reviewThe uMatter deadline
Feedback workshopThe WeMatter deadline

A deadline that falls today is not yet overdue.

Managers, reviewing managers and WeMatter leads

Three different roles can sit around one person. You can group and filter by each of them.

  • Manager: the person's line manager, set on their profile. Someone can have more than one manager. This is the right view for following up day-to-day.
  • Reviewing managers: the people assigned to review one particular scorecard. Together they submit a single joint manager review (uMatter). They usually include the person's managers and current WeMatter lead, but can be changed per scorecard, so they may differ from today's managers.
  • WeMatter lead: set on the person's profile. Current WeMatter leads are added as reviewers when a scorecard launches, and can lead the feedback workshop (WeMatter).

Department, region, managers and WeMatter leads use each person's current values, not the values saved when a scorecard was submitted. People without a scorecard have no saved values, and current values show who to follow up with now.

Reviewing managers come from each person's most recent scorecard in the range. People without a scorecard appear under "No scorecard, so no reviewer".

Group totals can exceed your staff total

People with several managers, WeMatter leads or reviewing managers appear under each of them in the breakdown, so group totals can add up to more than the number of staff.

Reading the dashboard

  • Summary: the share of staff who have completed a scorecard, how many had none launched, how many are part-way through and how many are overdue. The bar shows every member of staff by status.
  • Completion pace: how many people had reached each stage by each day of the range. The space between two lines is the number of people waiting on that stage.
  • Breakdown: completion by department, region, manager, WeMatter lead or reviewing manager, lowest completion first. Select a row to see those people in the People table.
  • People: everyone in scope, with overdue people first, then people without a scorecard, then those in progress, archived and completed.

The date range, filters and grouping are kept in the page address, so you can bookmark or share a view with colleagues who have access.

Downloads

Download CSV offers three files. Each one uses the chosen range and filters.

  • People: one row per person in the People table, including any status, search or group you have narrowed it to, with status, deadlines and roles.
  • Scorecards: one row per scorecard launched in the range, with each stage's deadline and submission date.
  • Breakdown: the current grouping, one row per group.
